I always learned faster and got high grades without studying or even paying attention to class, but im also very high inhib and don't understand emotions/social interactions, so I think its more on the autism side

my model for autism is that it serves as synonym for pathological nerd basically. the low functioning, low iq (sometimes super hero savant types) are giga pathological and it nerfs their high iq.

most moderately smart people will have mild autistic (low eq) traits but are high iq/not as pathological, to not require a diagnosis in their life and the giga smart theoretical physicists, literally, need a heavy dose of pathological low eq (autism) in order to maximise their iq - again, its the brain optimising
