What do you guys think about the political situation in the US?

Trump can literally create a crypto business (World Liberty Financial), then in a week just makes up a bill that signs stablecoins and bitcoin into their finances, and his company sells that stablecoin to the public, making him billions of dollars.

He can literally make a public statement "we will make 500% tariffs" , stock market crashes, he buys stocks, retracts his tariff statement back, makes billions.

Isn't this just market manipulation? How is there no punishment to him? It literally looks like it's a dictatorship now.

If anyone anywhere poses a threat to him, he just fires them.

Same shit with the Epstein files.

During his political campaign one of his strongest talking points was that if he gets voted in, he will release the files.

Now that he's in office, he literally is just trying to blatantly cover it up - while we ALL know he's in them, and possibly involved in a very bad way.

Shouldn't there be some kind of democracy? Shouldn't the people have the right to vote on it being released etc? I'm not big into politics but again - this just seems like dictatorship.

most europeans (me included) already saw this coming, but americans were too stupid to see trump is a narcissist and aspiring dictator. he won solely because he had more 'aura' than kamala.

i expect trump to lose popularity, but he can't run for president in 2028. it still matters to trump, because he cares about his popularity regardless. to boost his popularity he might do something extreme like starting a major war.
