If the idea of perfection is found nowhere in the world which God created and if God himself is imperfect, then perfection stands on a higher plane than God.
This ties into the Gnostic framework in which the Abrahamic God is the demiurge, a lesser deity below that of the Monad, the true God of consciousness.
One example of God's imperfection (a lot of examples in the Old Testament): God sending plagues for each time Pharaoh refused him (okay), Pharaoh refused 5 times, then God MADE him refuse 5 more times, just to send out more plagues to display his power (wrath, ego)
Gnostic framework:
We are cattle and God is the owner of the farm, the shepherds are the angels (archons) as well as the consumers of our loosh, the energy our soul emits when we suffer. The world is full of suffering, broken and flawed because it's meant to be this way. The demiurge (evil god of the material world people worship) hijacked the term God for himself (I am God and there is no other -insecure, also demands worship, very egotistical) , even though he is a lesser deity without a spirit or creative energy. He lost his divinity when he breathed life into Adam and his divinity, when he was tricked by an aeon of the highest, real God. Now god the demiurge, the archons and the reptile humanoids create reality through us by truth dumping in popular shows like the Simpsons and more, where they reveal their intentions, symbolism and truths. They do this because only we can manifest. 9/11 was in the Simpsons way before it even happened.
Remember: We are made in God's image, so his "mysterious ways" are not beyond our understanding. There is a reason why kids get slaughtered in certain locations. Why 25000 people starve to death every day and why disease and misfortune is so prevalent.
Why we sin is also because we were made in his image. We inherited his ego, pride and selfishness. The spirit which observers our own thoughts and impulses (metacognition in psychology) is what could be beyond this reality.
Jesus is an aeon of the highest God, who did not create the evil material world full of suffering, death, disease and poverty. That also explains the massive difference in personality between Old Testament and New Testament God, even though the possessed apostles and the church made it look like it was the same God and put Jesus in a Trinity.
There is also a verse in the bible Isaiah 45:7 where God says he created both good and evil (he only created evil, the only good that came from him is when he breathed divinity he inherited from his aeon mother into Adam when he was tricked by an aeon of the highest God)
A logical basis for the soul could very well be terminal lucidity, in which a destroyed Alzheimer brain regains full function right before death. Science does not have a definite explanation and this logically suggests the presence of a third intelligence unaffected by the material destruction around it. This works if we reframe the brain as a transceiver (radio) for the signal (soul). Some scientists proposed this idea as well, the brain being a transceiver.
Loosh extraction from the soul undergoing friction thereby is logically sound given the mass suffering and misfortune in the world all while in the presence of an omnipotent being. We know certain emotions have certain frequencies of vibration. Bad emotions are low vibration, so we definitely emit something when we suffer for example.
