Let’s say a man commits a horrendous crime such as murdering an entire 1st grade class. He is captured and his trial begins.

An idea I have come up with is this;

If rape is so bad and disgusting, then how come a rapist is punished for raping? If raping in itself is already a disgusting act, shouldn’t that already be a punishment?

You want to know why it’s not? Because rape and other sexual crimes are only punishable by law because basically everyone is jealous that the person did this and they have to pay a lifetime in prison for doing what they did. Because if rape was legal, everyone would want to do it. Everyone wants to do it. The court punishes people for doing it because secretly they want to do it.

Okay back to that man whose trial is set to begin:

How come he isn’t sentenced to a lifetime of raping women? Rape is disgusting right? Then why not torture him by forcing him to rape?

The reason people dont punish rape with rape is because rape is a lust. It is by definition something the human body person is/can be tempted to do and enjoy. It is not like pain, which remains pain. Rape isnt just “rape”. Its a perverse sadistic lust etc. I guess the problem would be if someone failed to identify the definitions of what the word “rape” categorizes.

And it is an characteristic generally lower of an animal. . A lot of animals in the wild dont wait to have sex but they do have individual cues to make sure each party is prepared. Like how cows have to be in heat before a bull mounts her. Or how a stud or stallion would not mount a mare if shes kicking or without playing with her first.

So, with the world as our teacher, we can use perspective to make a judgement if rape is bad or not. Its clear that humans and the human mind show “superiority” on earth vs animals in both creation and how we are made, so we can draw a line there. And since we are on top, we also can identify certain animalistic behavior within humans to be “lower” or less than ideal, let alone behaviors that are even lower than animals (due to our mental capability and applications). Even if you believe the judgement of the “low” action to not have any basis we can still come to the conclusion that it is less beneficial and at least administer confinement.
