If u are srs, mlf3 has a lower recovery time than lf1. Why? In lf1 ur bite (entire upper teeth set) is getting removed and moved forward but mlf3 is around ur zygo area. Both have different outcomes and cannot is substituted for each other however

Lefort 3 and mlf3 are very different. Lefort 3 is done on actual trucels and it moves everything forward. Ur zygo and entire upper jaw. Ur nose will also change a lot. Mlf 3 is basically a zygo surgery. It is the best zygo surgery actually.. idk about MSE but dr sinn does mlf3 and can move ur zygo both forward and upward by 10mm. Sad thing is he’s in the us and ppl don’t post pics. Idk about Mse though

Not sure which one you're talking about. The MLF2 I'm talking about, which I'm going to get, it is gonna be a standard Lefort2 cut without involving the nasal cavity/bones

Lefort 2 will move your middle part of the maxilla forward but leave your zygos and cheekbones in the same place. Not ideal for normal ppl at all.

It is much softer.. first of all they won’t peel ur face off. And they only operate on ur left and right zygos. It is actually a lot tamer than traditional lefort 3 and more safer.

Yeah it would likely get similar results tbh. Bc ur doing individual upper jaw surgeries that add up to lefort 3 operating area. Would take a long time though to do each surgery individually and recover. If u could do CCW and BSSO together.. Don’t see any other way however, since surgeons rarely accept lefort 3 candidates.

to my knowledge, this variant of MLF3 is not routinely carried out for cosmetic purposes. That's not to say no one will do it on you, just warning you that it's more involved.

as for which one would yield more aesthetic results, obviously the variant of MLF3 you posted is better than a high LF1.

The only difference between high lefort 1 and modified lefort 3 is that High lefort 1 don’t include zygos while modified lefort 3 include the zygos

My theory is to get similar results to lefort 3 I would get mSE for zygos and high lefort 1 will give you the same results as modified lefort 3

I have an appointment with an orthodontist in september, I'll tell him everything without being too brutal ofc, will ask about MSE, but I need bimax with CCW, with normal lefort 1 prob need zygos implants, with high lefort 1 idk tbh ngl

TBH classic bimax (not even with high LF1) with CCW will still give better undereye support and less scleral show so that's a bit of a lifefuel. Also zygos implants aren't too expensive, but I'm worried about infections in the long term and boxing
