Thinking + considering everything

Well sentience leads to neuroticism which leads to cortisol

most of the time, but high DHT can cancel cortisol while you are still highly sentient

No, high cortisol comes from being a pussy and nothing more. The most powerful people in this world are some of the most sensetive people. They just stomp on the eggshells rather than tiptoe.

I didn’t say “sensitive” I said “sentience”

the problem with this is, if you have high cortisol over extended periods, it’s probably much more difficult to have naturally high DHT

It's a bit of a trade-off at the end of the day

I very much fit into this category and during these past two years, I've found myself questioning everything even more so than ever before. At times, I really wonder if we're living in some type of Truman show situation where virtually everything in this world is fake. This is indeed very much a pathway to neuroticism and high cortisol.

It's so tempting to try and enlighten others too when you are wired this way but unfortunately, they're incapable of doing so. They're literally NPCs with a very shallow level of sentient awareness. So although they usually have lower neuroticism and cortisol levels, this comes at the cost of being neurologically incapable of certain levels of awareness.

Which, in turn, might actually be more dangerous and detrimental to your life in the long run than the negative impacts of being high sentience might have.

bro neurotransmitters that allow for high sentience are also always going to be allowing high cortisol
isnt cortisol removed by lifting and having a stable, routine-boring life srs?
btw cortisol can age you fast as shit almost roid tier

higher sentience = higher likelihood of solving your problems and/or adopting effective coping mechanisms = lower cortisol

this isn’t how it works, if you had Lower cortisol you wouldn’t have “problems” that raise it no matter how bad your life is. High sentience wires your brain to have high neuroticism/sensitivity creating problems

no it doesn't

explain your link between sentience and neuroticism without some vague non-answer like "neurotransmitters bro"

you understand deeper layers of social interaction , which means you can understand many different ways someone is negging/rejecting you.

plus, your brain will smash apart copes you try to construct for yourself. lower sentience brains can preserve copes

sensitivity and high cortisol is dysfunction or morphological variation of HPA axis (bully victim trait)

sentience or soul factor is originality, creativity, and unpredictability

ill agree that neuroticism is somewhere there, for the reason of high awareness allowing to take in patterns of threats and how to deal it anticipatively
though an immediate emotive response isn't necessarily going to arise from certain situations. sentient people are emotionless for the most part

maybe you will notice stuff like that more, but often not noticing more subtle rejections just means you are more likely to experience overt rejection/humiliation since you are not adjusting your behaviour before things escalate to that point

and more importantly higher sentience means you will be less prone to ruminating on rejection (or any negative event or idea, really) to an unhealthy extent after the fact, which is where most of the suffering/cortisol comes from anyway

plus, your brain will smash apart copes you try to construct for yourself. lower sentience brains can preserve copes

yeah nah, I think higher sentience people just have higher sentience copes, some of the best forms of coping (for example, mindfulness) don't even require you to construct any form of false belief
