It's more aerodynamic, there's less air friction since you're lying down, so less effort is required, but it's not good for cities and commuting, where you have to often change direction and stop, more for long distance traveling on roads.

Yeah it doesn’t seem ideal at all for most places tbh. Sort of beats the point of cycling as well since it’s not just your legs that you’re exercising.
