Almost certainly staged, there is almost no way their voices would get recorded so well without some special equipment prepared beforehand.

Stuff like this is essentially always staged. They are doing it for views and fame, not actual valuable information. As such, why risk spending lots of time failing to get good responses when you can just get someone off craigslist, do a couple of takes in a few hours and have an epic 10 minute "COLD APPROACHING GIRLS DOWNTOWN LA" with a super cool thumbnail and rake in the views.
