Because it's easier to fix your lower third than your nose. Male rhinoplasty has a 50% satisfaction rate.
the nose is so central though. if you can get it right it definitely has more of a change than trimax, especially for frontal profile. not to say you should only get one or the other though.

Fillers can drastically upgrade a face. So I can assume if they're done well implants can produce the same changes of good filer results. But I'm not aware of any results of implants besides this really really old one. And I sadly don't know that much detail about it.

As the caption explains, this guy got enchadified with cheek implants (of some kind) in combination with a special type of jawbone remodeling device that uses principles of distraction osteogenesis like those in Lefort II surgery.
A factor is where the implants need to go, because silicone implants may not be the best material for enchadification, but silicone implants permit the smallest incisions. Some surgeons prefer to cut in the silky parts of the mouth above the Lefort I to shimmy them and position the silicone cheek implants.

there’s the factor of people focusing on the wrong flaws but there’s also a semi popular misconception that trimax can ascend your nose completely which just isn’t the case
