im very determined to ascend and i plan on performing a partial osteotomy in my midpalatal suture. this will cut a few mm through my sutures and weaken them enough to expand. mse is extremely expensive and is restrictive for the other looksmaxxes i wish to do.
heres the plan:
before doing the major cutting, i will use topical anesthesia (lidocaine gel) and do some incisions through my bone, im hoping these incisions will be enough since im still young. i have already done it without anesthesia but not much (it started to bleed one so i stopped but it does work at creating more blood flow to suture).
if this doesnt work out that well, i plan on using injectable anesthesia to numb any pain do a full 3-4 mm deep corticotomy. im not a pussy but i dont have injectable anesthesia with me currently, but in a month or two i will. any advice/precautions from someone with experience?
