Highschool was never about the grades, never about acquiring new skills, and never about ur gpa. Highschool was about establishing connections and making friends.
If you never made friends in highschool it’s basically over for you unless you do it in college (over if you never go to college). The kids with the best scholarships weren’t the ones who had 4.0 gpas it was the ones who made friends with all the teachers, the chadlite and Stacie’s, the ones who knew coaches and other people in high positions and college basketball max, that’s what it was always about. Jfl if you still believe the lie that highschool was ever really about education. I can confirm that pretty much everything you learn in highschool is pretty much useless shit you will never actually use or its stuff you already learned in middle school (unless you go to some European highschool, American highschools are shit and don’t teach anything useful) Jfl it was never about learning Pythagorean theroem or pre calc. Its truly over for you.
If you’re entering highschool or still in high school use it to make friends and establish as many connections as you can. Because that will be the last time in your entire life where you will be able to make as many so quick. Also quality of friends matters over quantity
Make friends with the
- nerds
- Asians with rich dads
- rich white kids
- teachers and sports coaches
- frat girls
- tech support looking indians
- black people who look like they’ll actually have a future (ignore the rapping niggas and drug dealers)
