idk brah im not a quant guy but probably mean reversion with a intraday rolling mean + std of price over n minutes. textbook way of solving it but it will break down in strong trending days so you probably need to come with some custom solution after reading the data and patterns

This is their main quant dev hiring pipeline and no if you don't have that degree and top percentile grades don't apply you'll be wasting your time.
