Apparently it was quite noticeable, and off-putting to many. After reading this in Larson's book I had a look at some Hitler photos. Sure enough, his outline shows these wide hips. I'd never noticed before. It's easy to imagine it being something he was self conscious about, adding fuel to his sociopathy.
