2. They don't want their children or any other child to see it or even get the idea of homosexuals existing.

3. They don't want it normalized in society, especially in countries where being Christian and straight is the norm for their culture.

Thes are all good reasons. You need to understand from their perspective. You can like whoever you like in private. Nobody else needs to see, nobody else wants to either. If you stray away from the traditional path. Keep it to yourself. Just like how atheists in a Christian nation keep it to themselves.
