Hollow cheeks are a result of both lighting and leanness which means they are inconsistent

Even quite prominent hollow cheeks don’t show or show little under certain types of lighting

I’m writing this because I don’t want people to have expectations based on lean models (who will later be photoshopped)
placed in perfect lighting conditions

Many with proper hollow cheeks won’t have them in half the lighting conditions.It’s not as simple as be lean to be set for life

You are free to look at many different models,actors,irl people with hollow cheeks and their photos at various events/places.You’ll see there is no consistency regarding hollow cheeks,not because of body fat but as a result of lighting

Strongly agree, hollow cheek obsession prevents many people from gaining muscle, while it's clearly evident that VERY few people have visible hollow cheeks in normal conditions. If one wants hollow cheeks - they're to dehydrate themselves and take a picture from a good lightning

Exactly. I went from bloated moon face to hollowish cheeks and hollow cheeks under good lighting by getting bigger masseters through chewing, more prominent cheekbones through super hard mewing all SAME BF%. Skin stretched.

Forward growth which can get if lack only through surgery and same story with wider mandible, both help a ton. Same story if you reduce buccinator muscle and fat through surgery.
