Yeah I know half of you are gonna scream “it’s just lighting” and you’re partially right. Good lighting and angles make hollows look 80% more dramatic than they actually are. But that doesn’t change the fact that without the base structure + leanness it doesn’t even show up.
Debloat and having a legit lean face is the foundation. If you’re walking around at 18-20% with a bloated midface, no amount of lighting is saving you. You need to be lean enough that the soft tissue actually sinks in under the zygos. That’s non-negotiable.
Once you’re there though, real hollows separate the men from the boys. The deep shadow, the ogee curve, the way the face just looks carved instead of soft. That’s what makes people look up when you walk past. Most of the “full face is healthier” cope is just people who never got lean enough or don’t have the bone structure to begin with.
So stop pretending lean face alone is enough and stop pretending hollows are pure lighting cope. Both matter. Get lean first, then the real hollows either show up or they don’t. And if they don’t… well, you already know.
