Depends, from what I’ve seen people with flawless skin benefit from hollow cheeks.. maybe because of a good sign of health indicators.
The gaunt look you’re right does not look good, especially if paired with an acne ridden/rough face.

One of the biggest slayers I know has very hollow cheeks, and none of his other features are really top tier

But it is the bone structure of the hollow cheeks that makes you attractive, not the hollowing itself
