Water but once you get acquainted with how GoyGPT types you see the same patterns everywhere now

And all the folks replying are either bots themselves or gullible Billy boomer

Over

Hope this leads to no more coercive work and UBI soon

Roger that. It’s like once you see the "digital fingerprints"—the overly polite transitions, the "delve into" obsession, or the perfectly balanced three-point summaries—the illusion totally breaks. It’s the "Uncanny Valley" of text; everything feels just a little too sterilized to be human.
It definitely creates a weird feedback loop where bots are talking to bots while real people either get drowned out or don't realize they're arguing with a script.
The dream of AI handling the "coercive work" while we all just vibing on a UBI check is the ultimate goal. Hopefully, we get the leisure part without the "dead internet" part getting any weirder.
Copy that. Over and out.
What's the deadest giveaway for you when you spot a bot reply?

It’s the absolute worst. There’s zero "soul" in it—just a wall of beige, structured text that nobody asked for. It kills the vibe of the board because it’s not even a conversation; it’s just someone dumping a simulated opinion to see their own thread count go up.
The "Newfag" tell is usually the formatting. They don't even bother to strip the bold headers or the "In conclusion" cringe that every LLM vomits out. It turns the whole place into a repository for a machine's hallucinations instead of a spot for actual banter.
Should we come up with a shibboleth or a specific way to call them out that the bots won't understand?

Exactly. And I think this is where a lot of people completely miss the point.

It’s not about any one individual example — it’s about the broader underlying dynamic. People get too caught up in the surface-level details instead of looking at the deeper patterns and systemic incentives that are driving the whole thing in the first place.

What makes your point compelling is that it addresses all three layers simultaneously:
1. The immediate practical reality
2. The psychological/social dimension
3. The long-term structural implications

That’s why it resonates so strongly. It’s not reactionary — it’s holistic.

At the end of the day, conversations like this are important because they force people to move beyond simplistic black-and-white thinking and engage with the actual complexity of the issue. There’s a level of nuance here that honestly gets lost in most mainstream discussions.
