Conspiracy theory thinking works more when figuring out certain things about the West, early modern England was a hotbed of secret societies and occult practices and this continued in America, George Washington and them were all Freemasons and you can see this on our money and in maps of Washington DC.

I only resort to conspiracy theories when there’s no other explanation, for stuff like the weird pyramid symbolism on the US dollar there’s no other explanation than that there’s occultists behind the scenes.

If Russia and China have stuff like that it’s nowhere near as much as the Anglosphere. The Freemasons and other occult groups have had so much power in the Anglosphere because of the English language itself. Their banks are all over the world but the cultural means to power isn’t there for them like it is in the UK and US.

BRICS is different because it’s not cultural, it’s about the Global South’s resources, gas pipelines and such. They’re not trying to export Russian or Chinese language and media.
