Actually no ! but i had lots of hard tardar or plaque built up and being a sensitive gumcel makes it unbearable . Ill ask for numbing cream next time .

I’ve got infected gums, they bleed when I brush my teeth. I had my teeth cleaned too, years ago, and it was definitely painful. They removed plaque build up too. Lots of bleeding.

It doesn’t hurt if you do them regularly.

I water floss daily, use floss every few days and get cleanings like once a year.

I’ve never had to do a deep clean, those are only for filthy mfers that have plaque buildup all the way inside their gums
