I finally got the initial things fixed that caused me to unknowingly moutbreath in my childhood and early teens.
All of these 3 procedures were paid by insurance.
Little did I know the days after the surgery would be living hell.
Constant bloody and stuffy nose.
Dry eyes and dry mouth from permamouthbreathing since 2 days.
Pain at the nose, upper teeth and upper gums.
I‘m currently coping and keeping myself above water with painkillers and a salt rinse spray.
Atleast I will get to sleep and breath better.
Also the chance that my future bimax and genioplasty will relapse has been drastically minimized now.

Why not before?
The recovery is shorter than that one from a bimax.

i dont want doctors to see my recessed face
Who cares tbh.
Your maxfac surgeon will see it anyway.
I literally walked around with just boxers on in the hospital room while suddenly a few young nurses brought breakfast in.
Pain gave me low-inhib.

A quarter of my face was plastered up with this bandage that‘s right under my nose.
I don‘t think you would‘ve cared much about it either.

Aren't these outpatient procedures. I am getting septo-rhino. You don't stay in the hospital though right?

You stay there for like 2-3 days maximum if everything goes well.
I got home today.

The salt rinse and feeling like your nose is constantly blocked is so fucking annoying.
My first septoplasty wasn’t enough and now I have to get another one and I’m not excited at all for the recovery

Hmm weird I was told you go home day of in most cases. Staying in the hospital sounds boring.

I believe you man.
That‘s why I wanted to see my surgeon and have talks with him to see if he‘s capable enough for me to trust him.
Even if insurance didn‘t give enough room for that tbh.

it kinda is.
But at the same time it depends what you do and with whom you‘re in your room.
Had some funny dudes who had the same surgeries as me.
Time went quick.

Yep the swelling and shit combined is painful.
Also I would‘ve done a rhinoplasty with it but decided against it since I‘m getting a bimax in the future and I heard that can change my nose.
I’d advise you to do the same and do all soft-tissue related surgeries at last.

I got mine in Istanbul. Paid €1500 euros. I was out of the hospital within a few hours after the surgery and flying home to bongland the next morning.

Even with rhinoplasty, patients only stay in the hospital for one night.

Did I mess up by not taking a rhino with this procedure?
If I‘m getting a bimax in future was my decision right?

nah I hope everything goes well
