u cant just immediately stop u need to slowly taper off from using shampoo

bc then ur hair will know the natural amount of oil to produce over time as to opposed to just immediately stopping where ur hairs just gonna keep producing oil at the rate it was when u were shampooing it

itll prob get very oily or "shiny" in the coming weeks, its important you dont wash it bc once you get past it being oily for like 3-4 maybe 5 days itll look the best its ever looked and you might even get more texture outta it

anything without sulfates because they strip ur hair of natural oils too much

which is where the problem of hair overproducing oil when u stop shampooing it comes from

so like based or noun naturals those types of brands will help keep the balance between texture and not having stinky oily hair
