So I'm homebrewing ru58841 (5% solution) with a 70/30 ethanol and propylene glycol mix. I have EVERYTHING except ethanol, and since I'm in Norway I can't buy pure ethanol or even an alcohol above 60%. Which means I can't even use everclear or something similar as a substitute. So my only option is a 96% ethanol mixed with MEK and MIBK which i've read can be pretty irritating for the skin.
My question is would this be okay to use, or is there any other way of getting pure ethanol?

If you really cant obtain ethanol, 90-99% isopropyl alcohol is prob your best bet, it's less irritating than ethanol mixed with MEK and MIBK, but more irritating than pure pharma grade ethanol. Why not just a ready made solution are they restricted in Norway?

Much cheaper to make at home long-term + it would be fun to experiment.
besides I think it'll get taken by customs if I buy a ready made solution, customs are pretty strict here
