Can't you work at your own pace though? I knew a guy here in Michigan who was homeschooling from middle school onwards. He was about to complete all his work for each week in just two days and used the rest of the week to do whatever he wanted. He still managed to graduate at 16.

Pros: Fun, able to socialise with friends
