And in the 1990s, educational standards were greatly increased. Before the 1990s, nobody had to take calculus or algebra II.
2000s is when they had to start mass-administering ritalin and adderal to kids in order to keep them alive under the sheer load of the homework load they burdened them with. This is why school shootings, drug addictions and suicides have soared ever since.
