It's not optimal. I've spent a lot of time there over the years. You certainly can't JBW. You actually have to be pretty good looking and, more importanly, have status to attract any girls there that aren't lepers. The locals are especially rude, and the city itself is packed to the brim with annoying/aggressive curries always trying to sell you stuff. If you're not rich, you'd honestly get more play in HK if you were black. Yeah, it's got a lot of Africans as well.

Yeah, but as a foreigners you're gonna find yourself staying in the areas where other foreigners stay. You'd think you're in a Chinatown somewhere in India. Those are the cheapest places to stay as well.
HK's extremely expensive.

You're not just gonna be able to rent an apartment wherever the locals live and be a token local white dude.
