Hooded eyelids look like shit pt 2

Can some high IQ user explain what exactly causes bug eyes?
Usually it's due to recessed orbitals but can also happen because of muscle inflammation around eyes, for example because of Graves' disease
Bad fat pads can also contribute to the look

Recessed orbitals mean bulging eyes right?
But this guys eye seem deep set and orbitals not recessed yet he has bug eyes

Is it fat pad distribution in this case?

Do the shape of medial and lateral canthuses also a play a role?

Yeah recessed orbitals cause the eyes to bulge out. Infraorbitals also make the eyelid droop so the eyes seem even rounder/buggier.
His infraorbitals seem very recessed to me so in his case it's a combination of recessed infras, not enough fat in the fat pads and his eye shape, which is suboptimal and exaggerated by the already recessed infraorbitals. His nonexistent eyebrows and lashes don't help either (obv they can't solve bugginess but can make an illusion of a better shape and divert the attention at least)
Also i don't think his eyes are deep set, they're average at best but it's hard to say without a side profile shot
