What’s the easiest/fastest/cheapest way to get my growth plates checked

Do I go to my pediatrician and ask to check my plates which would take atleast 2 appointments then or do I fraud and say I hurt my hand and need X-ray at the er or something

Or how did you do to get your plates checked

they will likely put in an order then u go to the radiology department and they check ur plates via x ray
