I don’t mind my front profile but I absolutely hate my horrendous side, is side really that important or can it break my whole appearance? (15.5) with braces and elastics treatment still ongoing.

Everything is technically important, rlly if you care that much the only thing I'd do about your side profile is your chin. Fix your chin and don't worry about the rest

I was told the root of my bad side is my recessed mandible, I was advised that my recession wasn’t that bad that it would warrant jaw surgery but something like genioplasty, implants or filler should do the job, with genio being highly recommended

Yeah that was lowkey what I was thinking too, it comes down to a chin implant or genioplasty, I'd go for genio in your case as suggested.

fillers won't be enough, your nose is demanding big enhancements in the mandible. go for like 8mm or more genio
