ok lemme explain. index funds are for already wealthy people to preserve their wealth. an average joe aint gonna get much return from sp500 (6% returns after adjusted for inflation )

i mean back when i started u couldnt even day trade with less than 25,000 USD because of the PDT rule. it has since been abolished but yeah.
