Well, there are ethnic gangs who operate in hotels to steal stuff...You arrive there, a bell boy takes your luggage and he's gone with your stuff, before you even know what happened. Or a valet takes your car to park it and disappears with it. Others rent a room, dress as hotel staff and go from room to room claiming they are there to clean or fix stuff and steal if the opportunity appears.
