Reading is ancient. We are now in the age of AI, it isn't about how much knowledge you have it is about how you can utilize AI tools to advance in life.

You already have a personal butler called Chat GPT that can explain anything you require to know in depth.

If you want IQ gains do dual-n-back 5 minutes in the morning each day. It trains your working memory in the same way it trains a muscle and WM is pretty much at the core of what an IQ test tests i.e. the ability to manipulate elements in your mind.

how does one read faster

try reading sentences in their entirety instead of one word after another, if your brain gets better at recognizing words faster you can just glance over a sentence and be able to absorb it quicker than reading each individual word. You might be able to train this by running a finger left to right on a sentence, with the rest of it obscured by your hand. As soon as the word is revealed think it as fast as possible following the speed of your finger. When you get good at that you can increase the speed of your hand across the page and build up over time. I did this during middle and it sorta worked, I definitely was able to read faster but I didn't do it for very long so I don't know if there's a cap or smth.
