at the start of hs, you'd be in one singular class with all the same ppl before you all split up into diff ppl per class later on. in my class was this foid who with my hazy memory was decent looking (prob stacy now ) and she showed some decent iois.

iirc on multiple instances she'd purposefully sit next to me, start conversation first, and do some other ioi shit nigga. somehow i didn't autistically ignore these signs and actually tried speaking with her a bit (my social skills were a bit stunted though ).

anyway, shit was going smooooooth until one day i saw a cockroach in class. as a kid, i used to be a gigantic pussy and was scared of roaches specifically. she was next to me and said: "acm, there's a cockroach" and i saw it crawling around me. though i tried to stay calm, i was too scared and i legit got up from my seat and whole ass moved seats which made everyone in the class look at me and realise how much of a pussy i was

from that point on, she pretty much stopped talking to me entirely. so fair to assume that she lost interest after realising i wasn't a fearless high t bvll in 7th grade and bitched away from a roach. she eventually moved schools and i never saw her again so ig it probably wouldn't of worked out anyway.
