How accurate is the iris method to calculate facial ratios?

How accurate is the iris method. It seems to me it's been promoted too much here but I think even slight variations in actual iris size and you will end up with greatly varying results. Forexample if you take 11.77 to be the iris length and actually yours is 12.9 etc there will be too much variation to come to a conclusion that represent your Irl ratios.

Basically it's just measuring length etc from a set point as the Iris, which is usually around 11.77 mm for males. So in a non lens distorted pic u assume the iris to be 11.77 mm and measure all other lengths from that set point. Similar to holding a scale in one hand and adjusting all the values accordingly in a pic.

For example I take Zayn Malik. I assume his iris to be 11.77 mm and from there I can take other measurements. This is just a quick one so might be inaccurate, also the pics must be non lens distorted but Zayn's ipd and bizygomatic usually falls within the range I calculate @Tallooksmaxxer
