Accurate lol tf r u on they are designed for one thing
so they measure intelligence to its complete and most fastidious manner?

They measure a person’s ability to reason, solve problems and process information efficiently

so they measure a persons ability to reason and solve all problems or just the ones the test makes and if so how does that impact its accuracy in determining the quality of the things its supposed to measure

There just are many layers of potential answers/patterns but you don’t know at what depth to think

I explained it with this ss
1751762980854

Theres too many potential ways to look at stuff. Every colour explores something new, but the answer pattern turned out to be way easier

Maybe not everyone has this problem, but i think you should get familiar to what depth the patterns are.
That’s why IQ tests are kinda bs unless you get used to seeing other examples so you know what bounds to think in

It'll still test your ability to relate to something you've seen before + speed at which you can, and people will still have capped ceilings no matter what they learn.
But I personally credit intelligence to creativity than speed

Einstein over Von Neumann

thats an in depth answer what do you think the differences between creativity and intelligence are? what subfactors of IQ are most relevant to being smart? id say processing speed is the most important

I'd say it's the least important

Think of it this way. Imagine there's a box and in order for you to achieve the answer you're looking for, you have to travel from one position to another inside the box..
Your processing speed is how fast you can travel that distance

But would you prefer this or moving slower, yet having a way larger box + the rate at which you uncover uncharted territory (widen the boundaries of this perimeter) is way higher than the guy with fast processing speed

I think creativity is the largest limiting factor to intelligence

would you say crystallized or fluid intelligence is more important? how adequate are IQ tests at extracting ones knowledge capacity?
