I thought it was obvious that looks define how you are treated and the romantic attention that you get, and that ugly/mid people in general don’t want their looksmatch, they lust for the same people that attractive ones do

Nah I get what you mean. Funnily enough men gain the idea of hypergamy during middle school imo as you see your fellow male peers go through puberty and mog you in terms of female interactions.
