In nature you would think about suicide if you suffered enough physically. I guarantee you in ancient times people offed themselves by jumping off cliffs and through other simple methods when they suffered enough physically, such as cancer, extreme joint degradation making moving painful, and incurable diseases rotting them from the inside out

Agreed on this. Modern life is causing many men's lives to be artificially made shittier than they have to be thanks to environmental/ social issues unique to modern life, and way less men would be suicidal in nature. With that said, there are still valid reasons to end things even in nature, just less often and mostly for physical reasons only instead of many things in modern times that drive men to suicide.
