How are you supposed to store vitamin C (LAA powder), when it's NOT in serum?

So, I know that vitamin C is very unstable and that's the reason why you should be extra careful about the storing conditions of your vitamin C serum, and this applies to both commercial serums and DIY serums.
But are about storing the vitamin C powder itself, while it's not turned into a serum yet? It is sensitive to light and heat? Is keeping it in its original package in your room not enough?

that is why you buy a premade formula with ferulic acid and vitamin e, it both increase effectiveness and stability of it.
