How the fuck do you respond to this? Sometimes it’s easy to just get away with a “fine” but other times the person clearly wants a bit more than that and if they don’t get it the situation becomes awkward and they’ll realise what a socially inept sperg you are . So what exactly are you supposed to say?

I know I hate that. My coworker used to say “so…how have you been?” And she stood there waiting for an in depth answer but I don’t wanna let people know who I am and how I truly am. I am closed off. So just say “it’s all been good. Just working you know living the dream” another day in paradise
