I highly doubt it. The building blocks of skin/hair/nails/connective tissue are Collagen proteins, which have very different amino acids than traditional protein sources. More glycine L-proline and hydroxyproline which also happen to help with relaxation and reduce cortisol, I notice a dramatic calming effect when I use my daily multi-collagen complex.would benefit more from simply eating a steak or drinking a glass of milk
