It's not that bad. Of course it definitely doesn't help your odds but lot of people will assume a legit 5'8 is shorter than it is because a lot of 5'6 dudes are out here claiming it but in most of the west it's a couple inches below average at the worst

Plus it's a good height for height boosters since it can push you from slightly below to solid average or even slightly above average.
