how bad is it if i wait for post puberty or very late puberty for MARPE

been thinking hard about getting MARPE installed but i know that my parents will never agree to it, not because of money but more so the cosmetic intention behind it.
the obvious answer in these type of situations is just waiting until you're an adult and out of the house to do it yourself, but from what i've been reading, MARPE is more effective the younger you are, although im not an expert so if you have experience or even just knowledge in this field i'd appreciate advice.
i know that there's also MSE thats intended for adults but its more intense and is meant to fix problems that are much bigger than what i have.

well i can only get to him through my parents which as i mentioned isnt a viable option
obviously i know thats the best source and when im able to i'll ask him all i can to make a decision, this thread was only made to know how important it is to start at my age or if its fine to wait until im a grown adult, preferably from people who have experience with this treatment.
