How bad is it to take furosemide everyday

So I started furosemide 2-3 weeks ago, and I am very happy with the results. I’ve been very dehydrated and have been drinking gallons of water everyday but still feel like I need more water. I take 40-80mg depending on what I’m doing that day. I was wondering how bad is it to take it everyday and if I should stop.

Taking furosemide daily is not inherently bad, although it'd be wise to have your electrolyte levels under assessment. Low potassium (in the form of hypokalemia), or low sodium (in the form of hyponatremia) can potentially cause heart arrhythmia or muscle weakness. Keep intaking 40-80mgs for the next two weeks and see if anything changes for the worse, or for the better. Suddenly stopping ingestion of a diuretic will cause the diminished fluid to rapidly rebound and cause swelling.

Yeah ngl I used to hit 225 for 8 reps on bench but now I hit like 6. I assumed it was because I’m on a cut rn but might be bc of furosemide, who knows lol
