Studies indicate that nicotine and cigarette smoke exposure significantly stunt physical growth, particularly in children and adolescents, by interfering with bone development and decreasing growth plate efficiency. Nicotine restricts growth by reducing blood flow, inducing nutrient deficiencies, and inhibiting chondrocyte differentiation in bones.

Key Findings on Nicotine and Growth
Skeletal Development: Nicotine directly impacts growth plate chondrocytes, suppressing their ability to divide and develop, which delays overall skeletal growth.
Prenatal/Early Life Exposure: Children of mothers who smoke (specifically 10+ cigarettes/day) are significantly shorter—up to 0.65cm—than children of non-smokers.
Secondary Effects: Nicotine suppresses appetite, which can lead to reduced nutritional intake necessary for growth.
Secondhand Smoke: Exposure to secondhand smoke significantly increases the risk of stunted growth, with risks rising with higher daily exposure.
Dose-Response Relationship: Studies suggest a, clear, dose-response relationship between the amount of smoke exposure and the degree of growth restriction, particularly in height.

dentists literally arent allowed to tell ur parents by law
They are in my country, unless you are close to being 18 then they decide if they want to tell or not

Nah idk since I’m only 16 which is “early age” to be taking snud
trust me the dentist wont give a fuck if its not a major damage

It damages your collagen and you will age badly, not worth it in the long run, at least wait until you stop growing

I'm a cigarette smoker and I still wouldn't recommend it

waste of money
