How bad really is .org compared to what it used to be?

Obviously I’m a grey with a relatively recent join date and no idea and I’m technically part of the problem but I’ve seen some claim org has been “ruined” and a lot of the OG users left. Has org really descended that bad since LM became more mainstream or has it not changed much? I’m genuinely just curious.
