How bad will braces effect my face structure once I get them off?

I’ve had braces for 4 years now and heard a ton of bad shit they do. I got them when I was 12 and still have them at 16. What aspect of face structure could they have fucked up?

i have braces and they helped my face develop not fuck it up ive had them since i was 11 or 12 and now im 15 and my face developed pretty good Left was the day i got my braces

also it was partially because i applied other theories on my face ur face is so malleable during puberty u could ascend so hard applying other theories that “dont work” because ur face is so malleable

Im just coping really hard cause I’m almost done with puberty and don’t know if my face will change after taking the braces off

they can severally mess up your maxilla if done with teeth extractions

Does this mean getting teeth extracted WHILE having braces? I’ve had 5 teeth extracted BEFORE braces.

depends on who you get them from plus if you got your palate expanded, what is the point of braces if they dont expand ur palate XD. Anyays, yeah braces can improve your looks or mess them up. Most people just blame braces for their subhumanity even though they were designed to give the opposite.

Yeah but my genetics also fucked me hard my whole family has a flat maxilla and i think my maxilla is one of the most forward grown out of my family

idk might as well follow through at this point. if you can try find an excuse to get them off as soon as possible

Honestly, if the gov really cared about peoples looks, then braces should be 18+

That’s why in my opinion it’s better to get braces past 17.

i get braces next month, 17 and have overbite. jaw is recessed but i will get elastics to reverse the damage. if it isnt fixed after braces i will bimax

btw i will get 1 extraction because my upper palate is misalligend causing assymetrical face, now i have an 7 tooth smile instead of 6 or 8 :lul:
