I am really curious how did @Clavicular managed to keep his hair so thick dispite taking fucking accutane, which is known to cause hair loss such as Telogen effluvium, he is also taking propranolol, known to cause Telogen effluvium and what the fuck is this guy not taking? I understand he is on dut 2,5mg, but does oral min 2,5mg mitigate this side effect? The only thing that's keeping me away from accutane is hair loss, even tho it can be temporary, I always had thin hair and who knows if norwood reaper will ever come for me, but more thinning will looksmim me! Accutane also causes more oxidative stress and this could also theoretically accelerate balding if one is predisposed! Should I first start a 5ar inhibitor and if I tolerate it well to start accutane? Dut helps with skin, but I can't take it as I risk gyno even from fin from previous puberty gyno and I don't want to take minoxidil as I don't want to make hair dependent on min, I just want to keep what I have, no regrowth!

Yh, but I can't find other way to prevent telogen effluvium because I don't want to start topical minoxidil on scalp, neither oral because I can't commit to use it for life and oral min is not good long term for the heart

Your normal hair will shrink due to the factors you mentioned+dht rapes the hair follicles, minoxidil keep regrowing the miniaturized follicles desite the presence of dht but minox best results happens with a 5ar blocker, use accutane only if you have acne nothing can get rid of it

Because my hormones are fine now, but reducing my DHT a lot would mean more conversion of testosterone to estrogen, especially with dut, which raises testosterone way more than fin does!
