Ochronosis only happens from longterm, continuous HQ use without breaks, especially at 4%+, the standard is 3-4 months on, then cycle off for 2-3 months with retinoids ( azelaic, kojic, etc. )

Limit to 1x/day during cycles, and avoid combining with irritants that cause inflammation.

Always lower the dose off once ur target lightening is achieved instead of chasing perfection forever

By irritants you mean certain serums or food?
