How can I convince my mom to let me get jaw surgery when I’m 16?

Doing jaw surgery under 18 is stupid. Your jaw is till developing, no surgeon would do jaw surgery on you unless you are severely recessed.

You are currently 15, get a part time job and save up over 3 years until you are 18. Or do some entrepreneurship and save some money for when you’re 18.

Then where you’re 18, you won’t have to depend on your parents to get the jaw surgery.

Take your fate into your own hands , you have 3 years, in the modern era that is enough to make 25k via a part time job(working weekends + summer , assuming you live in a first world country). Or if you go the entruperhsip route you could make much more.

Then when your 18 pay for the surgery yourself.
