How can I get started in BJJ? Do you have any tips for those who are already practicing BJJ as a martial art?

I’m 20 years old, and I feel like it’s too late to start, but I love it.....:feelswah: It’s incredibly effective, yet it’s arguably the most complex martial art there is.:feelswhy: It makes me feel Rage not understanding things when I’m there.

Is any of you already practicing this? If so, do you have any tips for beginners???

I started out by pulling guard on homeless people after provoking them

But on a real note just go to a local gym and get in classes

I use to and will definitely get back into it

The number one thing is that you are never too old

When I was going in I was one of the youngest there (I’m 17) might’ve just been my gym

There’s a lot of people who are old even some in their late 30s and 40s

As For tips for beginners Idk I’m technically still a beginner just moved onto overall MMA for a while

Just show up and don’t say you’re self taught or any bs like that you’ll get laughed at
The only thing you should do this is a learn a heel hook and do it to the instructor trust me

Why do BJJ
It is so extremely effective that even women practice it, as it allows them to defeat men. Almost anyone can throw a punch, however, if you engage them in a ground fight utilizing the principles of leverage, they possess absolutely no intuition for it. They will suffer and lose without being able to do anything, once you have them locked into position, it is completely over for them, there is no escape once the hold is locked in.
In striking, on the other hand, anyone can dodge, and even if you land a hit, a knockout is never guaranteed.

You do understand that in a real world scenario BJJ is less effective though, right?

Many people say that, but I don't think it's true, because many have an intuition for striking but not for grappling and ground fighting.
I think you can even overcome striking by simply going into the ground like a disgusting person and just crawling towards them and then taking them down. and sub them

If you watch street fight footage and videos the majority of them start off with striking, and end with striking. Theres grappling involved a lot of the time but that’s where BJJ becomes supplementary. If anything, Wrestling would be more relevant.

bareback blowjob

try boxing instead
